Off the Beaten Track
Writing a book featuring over one hundred women, spanning over three hundred years, is a challenge. But even with this vast gallery of women explorers, the most frequent question I’m asked is, ‘Have you included ……?’ and the name will almost always be someone who I’ve had to leave out. There’s just so many of them. In some of my articles, I’ve had the opportunity to include those who didn’t make it into Off the Beaten Track.
